Concern Worldwide is recruiting a Communication Officer to support its communications and visibility activities in Liberia.
The position is based in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, and involves documenting program impact, developing communication materials, managing social media, supporting media relations, and ensuring compliance with organizational branding and donor visibility requirements.

Applicant Qualifications Requirements
Applicants should have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Development Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 3 years of progressive experience in communications, media, journalism, PR, or humanitarian/development communications.
Strong English writing and editing skills.
Advanced photography and videography skills.
Experience managing social media platforms and developing digital content.
Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, or Illustrator.
Experience with NGO or donor-funded development/humanitarian programs is highly desirable.
Strong ability to develop stories, articles, blogs, newsletters, case studies, fact sheets, and multimedia content.
Key Responsibilities
The Communication Officer will:
Conduct field visits and document program impact through photographs, videos, testimonials, and case studies.
Develop articles, blogs, newsletters, learning briefs, fact sheets, brochures, and other communication materials.
Manage social media accounts and content calendars.
Create graphics, reels, and other visual content.
Ensure communications comply with branding and donor visibility requirements.
Build relationships with journalists and local media organizations.
Support media visits, interviews, press coverage, and public awareness campaigns.
Train staff and partners on storytelling, photography, social media, and communication guidelines.
