INTRA-AFRICA PERI-ACE Scholarships 2026 (Fully Funded)

Overview

The PERI-ACE (Partners Enhancing Resilience through African Centres of Excellence) Academic Mobility Scheme promotes academic collaboration and mobility across Africa. The program supports African students pursuing Master's and Doctoral studies focused on climate resilience and sustainable development.

Eligibility & Target Groups

General Eligibility

Applicants must be African nationals and residents who hold or are pursuing a degree from an African higher education institution.

Target Group 1

Students who are:

- Registered at a PERI-ACE consortium core institution;
- Admitted to a PERI-ACE consortium core institution; or
- Hold a qualification from a PERI-ACE consortium core institution.

Target Group 2

Students who are:

- Registered at an eligible African higher education institution outside the consortium;
- Admitted to an eligible African higher education institution outside the consortium; or
- Hold a qualification from an eligible African higher education institution outside the consortium.

Scholarship Coverage & Benefits

A total of 40 mobility opportunities are available.

Master's Mobility

- Full degree: up to 24 months
- Credit-seeking mobility: up to 10 months
- Monthly stipend: €890

Doctoral Mobility

- Full research degree: up to 36 months
- Monthly stipend: €1,230

- One-time settling-in allowance
- Annual female student allowance

- Research, fieldwork and printing support

University Admission Deadlines

Applicants must submit the required university admission application concurrently with the scholarship application where applicable.
