The Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs is pleased to announce the official opening of
the application process for the Presidential Scholarship Program.
In alignment with His Excellency the President’s commitment to expanding access to higher
education, the Program will extend full-tuition coverage to high-achieving students attending
public universities and community colleges in the following counties:
• Grand Bassa
• Bong
• Sinoe
• Grand Gedeh
• Bomi
The Program already covers students at private universities and colleges in Margibi, Lofa,
Nimba, Grand Kru, and Grand Cape Mount Counties. Students from public universities
and community colleges are strongly encouraged to apply.
Eligibility & Requirements
• Academic Standing: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
• Civic Engagement: Commitment to 10 hours of mandatory community service per
semester and attend/participate in all scholarship-related activities planned by the
Ministry of State.
• Target Enrollment: Must be enrolled in or admitted to a public university or
community college in one of the 10 designated counties.
Application Deadline: Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Eligible students in the 10 counties
meeting the 3.00 GPA requirement are strongly encouraged to apply.
